DataScope and Mission Zero integration drives project operational standards

DataScope has partnered with CLOCS-recognised fleet standard Mission Zero to give contractors automated vehicle and operator verification within the delivery booking process.

DataScope, a leading provider of construction site management software, has partnered with Mission Zero, a recognised quality standard for the road fleet sector. The collaboration will give contractors automated vehicle and operator verification, streamlining compliance and raising operational standards.

More than on-time deliveries

Managing deliveries on major construction projects, where hundreds or even thousands can take place, demands more than making sure vehicles arrive on time. It requires assurance that those delivering to site are operating responsibly, legally and safely.

Accreditation built into the booking process

Mission Zero is a Construction Logistics and Community Safety (CLOCS) recognised accreditation standard. Integrating it with DataScope's delivery management platform means another trusted fleet accreditation will be built directly into the delivery booking process. This will speed up the identification of accredited delivery operators, reduce manual verification and ensure consistent standards are applied across all site deliveries.

Crucially, it will add a further level of confidence that hauliers and suppliers are working towards Mission Zero's vision of zero emissions, zero prohibitions and zero collisions.

It will also help contractors demonstrate that deliveries are being carried out by operators aligned with the stringent requirements of the CLOCS standard and committed to road safety and continuous improvement.

Adrian Butt, Managing Director at DataScope, said:

"Delivery management has never just been about scheduling vehicles. Our customers want confidence that the organisations delivering to site are operating to the highest standards.

"By integrating with Mission Zero, we're making it even easier to identify operators who have demonstrated a commitment to compliance, safety and sustainability as part of the booking process."

Embedding standards in everyday decisions

Nick Caesari, CEO at Mission Zero, said:

"Every construction delivery has an impact beyond the site boundary – on road users, local communities and the environment. Standards create meaningful change when they are embedded in everyday operational decisions, which is why our partnership with DataScope is so important.

"By integrating our independently assessed accreditation into the delivery management process, we can help contractors recognise responsible operators, encourage continuous improvement and drive safer, cleaner and more compliant construction supply chains."
