Solar Windows, a specialist commercial window contractor based in Caerphilly, South Wales, has taken delivery of 20 new Farizon SV large vans. The electric fleet will support the company's fitters as they transport windows, doors, and equipment to locations across the country.
Supplied by Waterton Motor Group, Farizon's authorised dealership in Bridgend, Solar Windows' newly supplied SV fleet includes 14 L1H1 vans, three L2H2 variants, and three L3H3 models. The vans are replacing the company's existing fleet of diesel-powered vehicles, with plans to replace the remaining 25 within a year. Solar Windows will base the vans across its three sites in Caerphilly, Devon and Nottingham.
With bespoke racking being fitted to the largest L3H3 vans, and on-site charging already installed at the three locations, the Farizon SVs will be put straight to work. With a range of up to 247 miles (WLTP Combined), the SV will exceed Solar Windows' daily usage requirements.

A 2026 International Van of the Year finalist and two-time Trade Van Driver Award winner, the Farizon SV features a range of advanced innovations, including drive-by-wire technology and cell-to-pack battery packaging, which combine to deliver market-leading real-world versatility and performance.
The SV includes premium features as standard, such as heated seats, a heated multifunction steering wheel, a 360-degree surround-view camera, and a comprehensive suite of ADAS safety systems. Higher spec models include a unique payload monitoring system, a heated windscreen and vehicle-to-load (V2L) technology for powering or charging kit while on site. The SV has also achieved the highest five-star safety rating from Euro NCAP.
The Farizon SV line-up starts from just £39,000 + VAT, excluding delivery, ZEVG, first registration fee and VED. It is available with 67 kWh, 83 kWh or 106 kWh battery options, offering a WLTP combined range between 177 miles and 247 miles, depending on the model. Its efficient all-electric powertrain produces 170 kW (231 PS) of power and 336 Nm of torque.
