After celebrating a successful first year in the UK, Chery will continue its growth and investment in the UK by launching four new and refreshed models over the next 12 months, including its first electric vehicle.
Since first going on sale in August 2025, Chery has racked up more than 29,000 registrations and achieved a market share of more than 2.5% — overtaking several long-established brands.
With these strong foundations in place, the brand is preparing to launch four new and updated models in the UK over the next 12 months to ensure that it continues to grow its presence, offer more choice, and reach new customers.
Electrification at the core
Electrification is at the heart of this strategy, which will see Chery launch its first EV in the UK. Alongside this milestone launch will be enhancements to the Chery Super Hybrid (CSH) system currently offered across the full line-up of TIGGO 4, 7, 8, and 9, which will include larger battery packs offering more electric range and reduced fuel consumption and emissions.
Models equipped with the CSH system account for 75% of Chery UK's registrations, demonstrating strong demand for electrified powertrains.

Investing in UK development
New models competing in new segments will be instrumental in driving continued success in the UK.
Chery's new UK R&D Centre of Excellence at the UTAC Millbrook proving ground in Bedfordshire will also play a pivotal role through customer-focused product development.
The engineering team that is being established there now will deepen market understanding still further and accelerate the pace with which product improvements can be introduced, and new features and functions developed.
