Andrew Dickinson joins Harris MAXUS UK with a wealth of automotive experience.

Harris MAXUS UK has appointed Andrew Dickinson as its new Head of Marketing; a key addition to the leadership team that underpins the marque’s ambition to increase market share, deliver best-in-class aftersales, and develop Harris MAXUS UK’s near-100 strong dealer network.

With more than 20 years’ experience as a marketing manager within the automotive industry, Dickinson has worked with over 25 manufacturers including luxury brands and commercial vehicles. Drawing on extensive experience at dealer level, Dickinson now moves into the manufacturer space, where he will support the roll-out of Harris MAXUS UK’s expanding product range, its growing dealer network, and investment into the company’s industry-leading aftersales portfolio.

Dickinson will report to the Harris MAXUS UK Managing Director, and will be supported by Harris Group’s central marketing function.

“Making the move from dealer to manufacturer feels like a natural step at this stage in my career,”

Dickinson said.

“The strength of the MAXUS product range, supported by an aftersales offering that truly stands out, makes this marketing role a dream opportunity. I’m looking forward to helping the network showcase everything the brand has to offer.”

Dickinson also pointed to Harris MAXUS UK’s growth ambitions and track record of success.

“The potential of the brand is huge,”

he said,

“particularly given the calibre of fleet operators already choosing MAXUS in the UK. With the experience of the Harris MAXUS UK team and the scale of the Harris Group behind us, I’m excited to play my part in further disrupting the commercial vehicle industry. Our expanding range, combined with trusted aftersales support focused on maximising uptime, is a powerful proposition.”

Looking ahead, Dickinson plans to begin in “listening mode,” engaging directly with dealers to understand their views on what the brand does well and where it can improve.

“I’m eager to bring creativity to our campaigns while working closely with our dealer partners and the Harris MAXUS UK team,”

he explained.

“Together, we’re building a strategic marketing plan designed to further grow market share. A key part of my focus will also be raising awareness of the investment and positive changes made in our aftersales offering over recent months.”
