Q: Congratulations on your promotion to Sales Director. How does it feel to take on this role?
Thank you. It’s an exciting step, and I appreciate the trust placed in me. Having led the specialist vehicle sales for four years, I gained valuable insight into fleet electrification, hybrid solutions, and customer needs for reliable onboard power. In this broader Sales Director role, I can now apply that knowledge across all sectors, while supporting new initiatives in climate control and electrification.
Q: The company recently underwent a leadership restructure. What does this mean for the team and customers?
The restructure strengthens Fischer Panda UK | Power Solutions’ position as a full-system onboard solutions provider. With Chris Fower now Managing Director and Barry Fower as CEO, the leadership transition strengthens the business and reinforces its strategic priorities. For customers, it means continuity combined with even more dedicated support, engineering expertise, and innovative solutions for vehicles, vessels, and defence applications.
Q: Electrification is a hot topic in the specialist vehicle sector. How is Fischer Panda UK | Power Solutions supporting fleet electrification and sustainable solutions?
We support customers with a broad range of integrated onboard power options, from lithium power packs and Mastervolt electrification systems to hybrid EFOY fuel cells. Our roots go back to supplying emission compliant AC and DC diesel generators in the 1990s, so supporting evolving power requirements has always been part of our DNA. As onboard power specialists, our in-house engineering team brings over a century of combined experience. That depth of knowledge allows us to guide customers confidently through the transition to electrification, ensuring systems are correctly specified, efficiently integrated, and practical in real-world use. By partnering with premium brands whose technologies are designed to be efficient, lightweight and reliable, we help minimise the impact on EV range while maintaining performance. In recent years, we have also expanded our expertise in climate control systems and developed export opportunities in markets such as the Middle East.
Q: What’s next for you and the team in 2026?
Our focus in 2026 is on helping customers optimise their vehicles through fully integrated power and climate solutions that are efficient, sustainable and practical in operation. The appointment of Stuart Jones at the end of 2024 has strengthened our ability to support growth, particularly within the specialist vehicle sector. In my new role, a key priority is building strong relationships across the industry, expanding our UK-wide certified service network and broadening the range of technologies we can support. We will continue to attend key industry shows, showcasing live vehicle installations and demonstrating our electrification and auxiliary power capabilities. We will on hand to provide clear, practical advice to operators navigating the transition to low-emission and zero-emission platforms.
